The Trafalgar, part of the National Trust furniture collection, is inspired by sofas found at Trust properties, such as Knole in Kent. It’s characterised by a deep seat and high back, with hinged high arms that can drop down to form a day bed – like the one Lord Nelson used on HMS Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar.
